The cello duo is a modern group with a rich, round sound. Thanks to the versatility of the instrument – from the warm tones that make the cello so popular to contemporary strumming and percussive techniques – this duo can showcase a wide range of styles. Hear your favorite pop and rock tunes, movie soundtracks, classical standards, and more. The cello duo is available for Colorado events around the Denver metro, Front Range, and beyond.
Turn Up the Volume!
The ideal guest count for each Nexus ensemble will vary widely based on factors like event location, guest flow through the venue, existing acoustics in the space, and more.
While all of our string ensembles are, as a standard, fully acoustic, Nexus now offers the add-on option for amplification. This will help boost our acoustic sound just enough during noisy receptions, in situations where we must be set further from the guests, or in large/outdoor spaces so that the music can still be present without overwhelming guest conversations.
