The String Quartet
The string quartet – typically two violins, viola, and cello – is Nexus' main ensemble and our favorite option for weddings and events in Colorado! The quartet has a broad repertoire ranging from pop, rock, R&B/soul, jazz, soundtrack, classical, and more. It will also provide the best sound out of all of our string ensembles, so if you are looking for the most visual impact, the fullest sound, and a flexible music selection, the string quartet is your group!
Turn Up the Volume!
The ideal guest count for each Nexus ensemble will vary widely based on factors like event location, guest flow through the venue, existing acoustics in the space, and more.
While all of our string ensembles are, as a standard, fully acoustic, Nexus now offers the add-on option for amplification. This will help boost our acoustic sound just enough during noisy receptions, in situations where we must be set further from the guests, or in large/outdoor spaces so that the music can still be present without overwhelming guest conversations.
